Cookie Policy
This policy explains what is stored on your device when you visit justjenius.com, why, and how to change your choice. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — such as local storage — do the same job in a different way. In this policy, “cookies” means both, because the law that applies (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, or “PECR”) treats them the same way.
2. Your choice, and the law
Under PECR we may only store information on your device without your consent where it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. Everything else needs your consent, given before it is set.
That is how this site is built. Nothing optional is set unless you turn it on. Refusing is as easy as accepting — the “Reject optional” button is shown at the same level as “Accept all” — and you can change your mind at any time.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are always active because the site cannot work properly or securely without them.

This site | Remembers the cookie choice you made, and the version of this policy you were shown, so that we do not ask you again on every page. | Local storage — 12 months |
jj_ph |
This site | Remembers whether you have switched the design-preview “placeholder notes” on or off. This exists only while the site is in client review. | Local storage — until you clear it |

Cloudflare | Distinguishes human visitors from automated traffic, so that our security and delivery network can function. | Cookie — 30 minutes |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | Set only if you are shown a security challenge; records that the challenge was passed so you are not challenged repeatedly. | Cookie — up to 1 year |
| Cloudflare Turnstile tokens | Cloudflare | Used only on the contact page, to confirm that the enquiry form is being completed by a person rather than a bot. It does not track you across websites. | Short-lived, cleared when the check completes |
4. Optional cookies
We do not currently set any optional cookies. There are no analytics cookies and no advertising or marketing cookies on this site today.
The preferences panel still offers “Analytics” and “Marketing” switches. They are set to off, and they control whether any such cookies may be set if we introduce them in future. If we do introduce any, we will list them in this table and your existing choice will be respected — nothing will be set for a visitor who has said no.
5. Third parties
We have deliberately kept third parties on this site to a minimum:
- Our webfonts are hosted by us, not loaded from Google Fonts, so visiting the site does not send your IP address to Google.
- There is no embedded map, no social media widget, no chat widget and no advertising network anywhere on this site.
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site to encrypt traffic and protect it from attack. This is a strictly necessary security function.
Cookies set by Cloudflare are governed by Cloudflare's own policies. See Cloudflare's cookie policy.
6. How to change your choice
Select “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page. The panel will open with your current settings, and you can change them and save. Your choice takes effect immediately.
7. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of this site working — in particular the enquiry form. Guidance is available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change what we store on your device, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
